For the Bourbon Glaze:

  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste

Instructions
 

For the Meatballs:

  • In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and milk. Allow them to sit for a few minutes until the breadcrumbs have absorbed the milk.
  • In a separate large bowl, mix the ground beef, ground pork, grated Parmesan, chopped onion, parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Add the breadcrumb-milk mixture and combine thoroughly.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1-1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a tray, ready for grilling.

For Grilling:

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F or 190-200°C). Ensure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled.
  • Place the meatballs on the grill and cook for approximately 8-10 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have grill marks.

For the Bourbon Glaze:

  • In a saucepan, combine ketchup, bourbon, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
